Alumni/ae council events
Throughout the year, the SPA Alumni/ae Council sponsors many events and takes on various initiatives in order to better connect the alumni/ae community. The Council works to offer networking opportunities, volunteer initiatives, and sponsors an alumni/ae day of giving. Below are some of the initiatives that the Council is working on this year:

The Alumni/ae Day of Giving is a one-day fundraising event sponsored by the SPA Alumni/ae Council. For 24 hours, we will be asking all alumni/ae to come together and show their support of the school by making a gift to the Annual Fund. To learn more about the Day of Giving, please visit the Alumni/ae Day of Giving Page.
The St. Paul Academy and Summit School Alumni/ae Council created the Speaker Series in 2014 to showcase the wide-ranging achievements and expertise of SPA alumni/ae. Each Speaker Series event features a program around an individual or a panel with expertise in a particular field, and is followed by a question and answer session with the audience. Speaker Series events are lively and interactive, and provide alumni/ae, parents, and friends of SPA an opportunity to learn about a new topic, engage in interesting conversation, and connect and network with each other. All SPA alumni/ae, parents, friends and their guests are welcome to attend. The Alumni/ae Council is looking forward to producing the fourth year of the Speaker Series during the 2017-18 academic year.
Volunteering at SPA is a wonderful way to reconnect with school and share your expertise with current students. Alumni/ae are some of the school's most important volunteers: engaging with graduates helps students understand the possibilities and opportunities that await them after graduation. Please visit the Volunteering Page if you would like to learn more about some of the ways that you can further get involved. If you have questions about volunteering, contact Chris Jenkyns, Director of Alumni/ae Programs.
