Posted 05/08/2018 03:46PM

On May 3, SPA track and field traveled to The Blake School for the annual IMAC Conference Relays and finished the day with numerous top finishes. The girls 300 hurdle relay took first place, with strong performances from Sara Browne '21, Rashmi Raveendran '21, Julia Baron '21, and Becca Richman '23. The boys 4 x 400 took second in a very exciting race to end the night. Both the boys and girls 1600 runners had significant improvements in their times, some of them cutting up to 20 seconds off their previous personal records.

After many weeks of training indoors and meets being canceled, the team is coming together nicely and starting to see their hard work pay off. Join the team at an upcoming meet on Tuesday, May 8 or Thursday, May 17 -- Go Spartans!
