On Friday, March 1, the MSHSL Class 2A Boys' Swimming and Diving Meet began at the University of Minnesota. Five swimmers from the Trojans co-op between SPA and Highland Park competed at the State Meet including SPA's Cesar Gallagher '20 and Noah Rice '20. In the prelim races on Friday, all of the Trojan events advanced to finals except the 400 free relay who just missed qualification, placing 17th. In the finals, Cesar earned 12th place in the 200 freestyle and 13th place in the 100 fly, and the 200 free relay improved from their 13th place seeding to 10th place, dropping almost a second and a half from their prelim time. Noah led off that race, swimming his fastest 50 of the season, 22.07.
Congratulations to all of our swim and dive student-athletes on a fantastic season!
