Join the Community Phase

It all starts here

Today, we are uniquely positioned to accomplish more than we ever dreamed possible at the outset of the Imagining Our Future Campaign.

Only with your generosity will SPA be able to complete our vision for the Goodrich Campus. To reach our stretch goal of $22.5 million, we need the entire community to participate in the Community Phase.

If successful, the final scope of renovations will:

  • Create a signature Makerspace that connects learning from Lower School through Upper School—cultivating a seamless, future-ready STEAM journey.
  • Build out two new science classrooms to further connect specialist subjects and teachers establishing a corridor of creativity and innovation for our youngest learners

  • Add a new grade level classroom to provide flexibility for grade level needs and to adeptly manage fluctuations in enrollment

  • Create new Adventure Kids after school program and Physical Education support spaces to house the program equipment and personnel charged with leading these areas.

"Through the Community Phase, we are eager to advance important additional renovations to the Lower School and create vibrant, purpose-built science, engineering, and design environments that ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and build critical skills from Kindergarten through Grade 5."

NOW IS THE TIME

Ultimately, this expanded scope will allow SPA to build on the original goals of the campaign and extend our vision. We must seize the moment right now to finish the job. In so doing, we will:

  • Provide our students and teachers with beautiful, functional, revived spaces that reflect the exceptional and innovative teaching and learning that happens every day on the Goodrich Campus.
  • Strengthen the Lower School, where students begin their educational journey, families form lasting connections, and a lifelong love of learning is nurtured.

  • Set a bold benchmark for innovation as Minnesota’s only private elementary school with a dedicated K–5 Makerspace focused on the needs of our youngest learners.

  • Bring us closer to achieving parity across more Lower School learning and community spaces.

Now is the time to make this strategic investment. To do it, we need your help.
