St. Paul Academy and Summit School launched the final phase of its Building Futures Capital Campaign with the announcement of a $500,000 matching gift. The gift marks the beginning of the Community Phase of the capital campaign, which is now 85% to its goal. Learn more about the Community Phase of the capital campaign.

The $500,000 match is a combined gift from three campaign leaders, who will match dollar-for-dollar the first $500,000 donated in the campaign’s Community Phase. “The capital campaign is now at a point where we are inviting the entire community to participate,” says Bryn Roberts, SPA’s Head of School, “and we are enormously fortunate for these three donors, who have generously agreed to help us bring the campaign to a successful conclusion.”

In addition to the dollar-for-dollar match, the Community Phase of the campaign also includes a personalization opportunity for donors giving at the $3,000 level and above. Gifts at that level will allow the donor to personalize an Upper School locker in honor of a student, family, teacher or coach, or school legacy. “The personalized locker is an opportunity to have a permanent space that honors an individual or family’s connection to the school,” says Roberts. “We believe in the value of recognizing those who support these projects, as a reminder to students of the people in our community who made this investment in their schooling and future success.”

The public announcement of the $500,000 match was made by Roberts on October 12, 2019, at the school’s Upper School Grand Opening Party, an all-school gathering which celebrated the new and renovated spaces of SPA’s Upper School. Gifts may be made online or by contacting Dorothy Goldie, SPA’s Director of Institutional Advancement.
