On Friday, June 7 nine SPA track and field athletes competed at the State Track and Field Meet at STMA. The Spartans had an extraordinary afternoon, clocking personal best finishes, and two Spartans finished first in two events, claiming the title of State Champions. Elizabeth Tuttle '26 finished first in the 300m hurdles and second in the 100m hurdles and Oliver Thompson '25 finished first in the 400m.
Other state participants were:
- Girls 4x800 Relay: Sophie Kannapiran '28, Clare Ryan Bradley '26, Paloma Good '27 & Maren Overgaard '26
- Boys 4x400 Relay: Roman Hozalski '27, Langston Thompson '27, Nico Martin '27 & Oliver Thompson '25
- 800m: Paloma Good '27
- Long Jump: Clare Ryan Bradley '26
