Student publications win 25 awards, including 4 All-State Gold honors, at JEM/MHSPA Convention

Over the last two weeks, SPA publication students have attended sessions at the 2020 Virtual JEM/MHSPA State Journalism Convention. This year's convention featured numerous webinars on important and timely topics such as a keynote presentation from Hadar Harris, the Executive Director of the Student Press Law Center, on "Reporting truth in times of turmoil."

The culminating event of the JEM/MHSPA convention was an awards ceremony where SPA was excited to bring home 17 Gold Medallions, 4 Best of Show awards, and an All-State Gold Award for every SPA student-publication! See a full list below:
