On Wednesday, January 29, Spartan Alpine competed in their final scored conference race of the year at Buck Hill. Caden Burns '25 led the pack for the Spartans, finishing in first place on the boys' side, followed by Liam Burns '28, who took second. With all scoring conference meets complete, overall conference results and All-Conference honors were also celebrated this week. This year, SPA has four All-Conference athletes. Earning All-Conference for the boys was Caden Burns, who placed first overall and was also named the 2025 Alpine IMAC Champion. Liam Burns finished second overall. On our girls' team, Shopia Wenberg placed second overall, and Sophie Ferrer finished eighth.

As a team, the boys' team finished third overall in the conference and the Spartan girls' were fourth overall.

"It was a great day to end the conference season," says Head Coach Nathan Goldman. "All of our athletes competed extremely hard, and we are excited to build on this in preparation for the section meet."
