Student publications win 24 awards, including 4 All-State Gold honors, at JEM/MHSPA Convention

On October 13, SPA publication students attended the 2022 JEM/MHSPA State Journalism Convention. The event featured keynote speakers Azhae’la Hanson and Tracey Lynn Williams-Dillard's remarks about the power of journalism to make change as well as an awards ceremony for excellence in student journalism. SPA student-journalists were the recipients of 16 Gold Medallions, 4 Best of Show awards, and an All-State Gold Award for every SPA student-publication. The award winners are:
