SPA boys' Alpine will send skier Henry Giles '24 to the 2023 Minnesota State Alpine Championships. This is the third year in a row that Henry has qualified for the state Alpine meet, which will be held on February 14 at Giants Ridge.
Henry qualified for State after his strong performance at the Section meet on February 8 at Wild Mountain. Henry placed 2nd in his race, finishing in 59.16. Head Coach Rob Thomas says Henry has a lot of positive momentum going into Tuesday's meet: "Henry is skiing great right now and I look for him to build off his section meet success this Tuesday at Giants Ridge."
