Boys' soccer wins IMAC Conference Championship

Boys' soccer wins IMAC Conference Championship

With a 2-2 overtime tie on October 7 versus IMAC rival Blake, the SPA boys' varsity soccer team was named IMAC Conference Champions for the 2021 season. This is the first conference title for the boys since 2015 as they wrap up conference play with a 5-1-2 IMAC record and a solid 7-2-5 record overall. SPA soccer has now swept the IMAC conference this year, with both the Spartan boys' and girls' teams winning conference titles this season. Read the story about the girls' IMAC title

"This is an exceptional victory for our team now, and bodes well for our program in the future," says Head Coach Max Lipset. "I am extremely proud of this group's attacking mentality, not just in this game against Blake but throughout the season. We fought as a team for the entire game, and didn't give in when we fell behind. This team earned this win."

The Spartans await their opponent for the first round of section play, which will begin on Thursday, October, 14. Congratulations to our IMAC champions and go Spartans!
