The National Scholastic Press Association, the nation’s largest association for high school, junior high and middle school journalists, has honored sixteen SPA students with the NSPA Leadership Award in Student Journalism. This award celebrates high school students who have served with distinction for at least two years on the staff of our literary arts magazine, newspaper, website, yearbook (or a combination of those). Students must maintain the high ethical standards outlined in the NSPA Model Code of Ethics, in addition to demonstrating the qualities that make our student leaders great: empathy and integrity, positivity and resilience, confidence and accountability, mentorship and outreach.
Congrats to our student journalists!
