• Best of History Websites   Portal webpage to other websites with information covering the ancient empires. Comprehensive in scope and voluminous.
• The Labyrinth   Sponsored by Georgetown. Portal page to many websites devoted to Medieval History, subjects ranging from The Crusades to Art to Education.
• Ancient History   From the BBC, analyzes specific cultural and political aspects of the various empires. Not a particularly good resource for primary sources but well suited to providing critical insight into strengths and weaknesses of the respective empires.
• Internet History Sourcebook   Historical texts in public domain. Great primary source resource, especially for Roman Empire. From Fordham University.
