At St. Paul Academy and Summit School we encourage our students to think broadly, to develop their talents, and to do so with optimism for the future.
The quality, strength and tradition of St. Paul Academy and Summit School have been built by generations of alumni/ae, parents, students and faculty all dedicated to the mission of the school. The stewardship of our community is evident in the endowed funds of the school and the Annual Fund. As St. Paul Academy and Summit School begins its second century, these gifts allow the school to thrive by permitting the school's leadership to meet the changing needs of the school.
We rely on the generosity of our alumni/ae, parents and friends to maintain the school and to prepare for the future.
Each year, the annual operating budget is augmented by revenue earned from the endowment and gifts contributed to the Annual Fund. It is the policy of the Board of Trustees to limit that spending so these funds will grow to meet the needs of the school in the future. Along with adhering to a conservative spending policy, we must increase our endowment - just as other comparable independent schools are doing across the country. In addition to the endowment and the Annual Fund, the school conducts special campaigns to support the construction, renovation and maintenance of school facilities.
