Reunion Weekend 2017

Mark your calendars for Reunion Weekend 2017: September 8-10, 2017. In addition to the regular Reunion Weekend festivities, St. Paul Academy and Summit School will be hosting a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Summit School on the Goodrich campus during Reunion Weekend. Details and a formal invitation to follow.

This year we will be celebrating classes ending in "2" and "7". St. Paul Academy and Summit School will be hosting a variety of events on campus throughout the weekend, including the All-Alumni/ae Art Show & Reception on Friday evening, in addition to hosting class parties for each reunion class off-campus on Saturday night. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8

All-School Open Houses, 2-5 p.m.
Randolph and Goodrich Campuses

We welcome all alumni/ae to both campuses for the All-School Open House. Wander the halls, find your old locker, and tour one or both campuses. The new Huss Center will be open on the Randolph Campus! The Open House is hosted by the School. There is no cost to attend but registration is required. 

All-Alumni/ae Art Show and Reception, 5:30-9 p.m.
Drake Gallery and Lilly Courtyard, Randolph Campus

All reunion and non-reunion alumni/ae and their guests are invited to a reception on the Randolph Campus. Weather permitting, enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres under a tent outside while mingling with alumni/ae and faculty and listening to an alumni/ae band. You can also find a more quiet space to enjoy good conversation inside Summit Center and the Drake Gallery while viewing the art of talented alumni/ae artists. Cost is $15 per person, includes hors d'oeuvres and drinks (beer, wine, and soft drinks).

saturday, SEPTEMBER 9

Heritage Society Induction Toast for Class of 1967, 10:30-11 A.M.
Driscoll Family Commons, Huss Center for Performing Arts, Randolph Campus
All alumni/ae from the Class of 1967 and their guests are invited to the Heritage Society Induction Toast. Alumni/ae will receive their “Heritage Pin” and will be honored for celebrating a momentous reunion. The Heritage Society Induction Toast is hosted by the School. 

Heritage Brunch, 11 A.M.-1 P.M.
Driscoll Family Commons, Huss Center for Performing Arts, Randolph Campus
All alumni/ae that graduated fifty or more years ago and their guests are invited to the Heritage Brunch. Guests will hear an update on the life and culture of the School from the Head of School Bryn S. Roberts. Alumni/ae will be given their “Heritage Pin” if they have not already received it. The Heritage Brunch is hosted by the School. There is no cost to attend but registration is required. 

Class Parties, Various times and locations
Classes ending in "2" and "7" will celebrate their milestone reunions with class parties at various locations in the metro area. Young alumni/ae reunion classes (2002, 2007, 2012) will celebrate their class parties in November.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

Summit School Centennial Celebration 1 P.M.
Goodrich Campus
All Summit alumnae and their guests are invited to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Summit School. The Celebration begins at 1 p.m. with a reception in the living room and halls of Summit School, now the Goodrich Campus, followed by a program in the auditorium highlighting the rich history, songs, and traditions of Summit School. Summit School memorabilia and uniforms will be on display. The Summit School Celebration is hosted by the School.

Book Reading by Felicity Vaughan Swayze '55
Goodrich Campus

All alumni/ae and their guests are invited to join Felicity Vaughan Swayze '55 for a book reading of her recently published memoir, War Torn: A Family Story on Sunday, September 10Felicity, an alumna of the Summit School class of 1955, gives readers insight into leaving England following the Battle of Dunkirk, and her experience at Summit School. More information about War Torn can be found here. The book reading will commence in the living room immediately following the conclusion of the Summit School Centennial program.
