Theater and musical ensembles

SPA's robust performing arts program includes three theatrical productions and three major musical concerts every year.  The three theatrical productions are co-curricular activities; students audition and rehearse after school and occasionally on weekends. The three concerts feature the Upper School's seven musical ensembles, most which meet during school hours as part of the Fine Arts curriculum.  The exception to this is the Summit Singers, an all-girls vocal ensemble which meets once a week before school.

All of SPA's theatrical and musical performances take place in the state-of-the-art Huss Center for Performing Arts, the school's 650-seat auditorium which opened in the fall of 2015. Learn more about the Huss Center.
