A Commitment to Diversity
At St. Paul Academy and Summit School, a diverse environment is inherent to our mission. This is clear not only in the makeup of our student body, but also in our programs, curriculum, and activities.
This site allows you to explore the many ways in which in the SPA community embraces diversity. Our Board of Trustees’ resolution and SPA’s Diversity Action Plan set the stage for our continuing pursuit of a multifaceted educational community for students and adults. The photos linked to this page provide visual representation of just a few of the activities in which SPA has engaged over the past few years, including The Color Project, a program sponsored by Tolerance Minnesota where children create a mural of self-portraits illustrating both our rich differences and fundamental similarities; The Spartan Express, a biannual festival that celebrates our wonderful mix of cultures and traditions; and other activities that offer a glimpse into how multiculturalism and inclusiveness is manifested in the daily lives of our students. In addition, you will find links to information about the student activities and clubs, curriculum, and other opportunities that enhance diversity at our school.
